Even if the no-try is accepted the referee cannot end the game on a penalty - he has to restart with White penalty, 5m out and in front of the posts which is where the latest offence was committed. No advantage was gained, nor was it called over (plus 6 seconds time!) so Walsh had no legit means of ending that game after a TMO call.
